I really loved taking these newborn photos outside, it was a first for me and definitely something I am going to do as much as possible now! Thank you R family for bringing me such a sweet and sleepy baby today!

This morning my photographer friend Anne (www.decamp-photography.com) and I photographed baby C. She is an absolute doll baby and made us both realize just how big our own babies have gotten!

Summer Nights

This is our first summer of spending the evenings riding bikes and having light saber wars with the neighborhood kids. Mostly it's just Nick joining in on the fun but Courtney is slowly working her way into the group, a group of 4 boys! We love these evenings!

I also took tonight as an opportunity to work on being more spontaneous with my photography. I tend to be very organized and planned with my photoshoots, especially with my own children. So tonight I ran in and grabbed my camera and started shooting and I love the results! Even the falling out pony tail and dirty shins, but what did I expect, they were outside playing!

8 months old!

Steven and I both graduated from Chico State so we thought it would be cute for Ben to "represent" :)

This is the face of a teething 8 month old who has reached his limit with the picture taking. Point taken.

6 month pics!

I just logged in to post Ben's 8 month pictures and realized I never blogged his 6 month pictures! So here they are, from 2 months ago! My poor, sweet baby has been teething horribly for 2 months so he's not his usual happy self. And that's his little girly friend with him, she's exactly one month younger, and pretty much his soul mate :)

LOVE!

I think my daughter is one of the girliest girls I know, and it just makes my heart happy!
